All services are within walking distance down a single lane country road: 1 km to boulangerie, grocery store, and bank. 2 km to tabac, post office, and the office of tourism. 2.5km to a swimming lake. The Perigord is famous for its hearty food: black truffles, canard, pate de foie gras, cepes, and walnuts, with many good restaurants in the area. The wine regions of Bergerac and Bordeaux are only 1 hour to 1.5 hours away. There are many famous pre-historic, historic, and tourist sites: grottes caves, Troglodyte sites, Bastille towns, Castles, and old villages are less than 1-hour drive away Lascaux is only 20 minutes.
