Waihau Bay is located on the untouched East Cape of New Zealands North Island; it offers sub tropical temperatures, a remote, beautiful 3km sandy white beach, just across the road, and is renowned for its abundance of sea life and offers many outdoor activities. This Fully self contained 3 Bedroom house will sleep at least 6 people. With a huge deck with a 180 view of the Beach and Pacific Ocean; just imagine relaxing with a drink on The Deck and watching awesome sunsets. Anglers travel from all around the world to fish for big game fish like Marlin, Tuna and Kingfish. While Snapper, Terakihi, Hapuka, and John Dory are regularly caught either bottom fishing or surfcasting off the rocks or from the beach across the road from The Deck. Whats more The Deck has its own fish filleting station to comfortably fillet your catch, with friends and family, only a few steps from the kitchen and laundry. There is plenty of parking for cars and boats on The Deck full size section, and only a short trip to a three lane concrete boat ramp and jetty. Fishing or diving is also available right at your doorstep, with a Licensed Charter Boat next door. The beach is safe for swimming with no rips, and is excellent for Kayaking these can be hired next door. For the outdoor enthusiast there is golf Te Kaha, kayaking, horse trekking, white water rafting Motu River, tramping, historical walks, diving and Jet Boating Motu River, and for those wanting to relax at home, The Deck offers SKY TV and a stereo to play CDs or tapes. A 5 minute drive will take you to the Waihua Lodge which has a restaurant and bar, there is also a caf and shop which is only a 15 minute walk along the beach, and for those who would like meals supplied to The Deck meals can be supplied by arrangement with Oceanside Apartments with seafood the specialty, alternatively there is a fully equipped kitchen at The Deck and a BBQ with outdoor furniture. The Deck offers a wonderful holiday in one of the most spectacular scenic areas in the country. The Deck is available for one night or extended stays.
