The apartment has a balcony with view to the marina of Portimo and the Arade river. It is 6 minutes from the beach and about 5 minutes to the marina. There are countless restaurants, bistros, shops, nightclubs, coffee shops and everything else you could possibly want, to enjoy your stay nearby. If you would like to play Golf, there are plenty of golf courses locally. Golf is the most popular participation sport among visitors to Algarve. There are many horses riding centres and tennis courts where you can play. Along the Algarves coast there are opportunities to practice watersports and fishing. Portimo is a town of about 40000 inhabitants, on the mouth of the Arade River, Atlantic Ocean. Situated in the ALGARVE south of Portugal it is about 100 kms from the Spanish border Andalucia. Seafood and high quality fish give a special taste of Portuguese cuisine to a great variety of restaurants. There are several golf courses and a marina for sea lovers.
